Oct. 30, 2009 - What's Happening |
| Hey all, I know these details are coming last minute, but I am in New England shooting a wedding in Newport Rhode Island this weekend and on Sunday, I'll be back in Boston on my way home. I could have flown home Sunday, but I wanted to have a lil' [ b ] School GTG in the Northeast, so please come on out to play on Sunday night and play with your fellow photographers.
Starting at 7pm, I'll be at Jillian's Boston. It's located at: 145 Ipswich Street, Boston, MA 02215 Come out, play some pool, have a frosty beverage, talk some shop and have some fun! I am also thinking late night bowling as there is a Lucky Strike right upstairs. Please RSVP in the comments below if you can make it. Also indicate if you are interested in bowling too. I hope to meet some new peeps as well as seeing some old friends. |

| About 6 months ago, I switched to Album Exposure for my album proofing solution and I couldn't be happier. It is so easy to use, it looks professional and most importantly, it makes it really easy for my clients to give their feedback and submit changes on their album designs. They simply type in their comments and feedback under each spread and when they are done, they hit submit and the notes are sent right back to to you so you can implement their changes. It's a piece of cake.
They have a free trial available and they also make it really easy to brand it so it's consistent with the rest of your site. Here's a little tutorial on how it works: And here's a video about how you can customize your Album Exposure: It also has a great feature in which you can embed an album into your blog or website. | Last week a bunch of UK [ b ] School members got together for their 2nd official get together and it looks like they had a great time. It makes me so proud to see photographers getting together, sharing, networking, connecting, etc... that's what the [ b ] School is all about folks... "changing the way photographers connect online... AND IN LIFE!"
